Course content
Basic terms, terminology and phenomena. Historical context of land consolidation, surveying, land evaluation and cultural engineering. Complex land consolidation as a science. Basic method of spatial and functional ekooptimization of lands. Land consolidation as a complex socioekonomical process. Changes in nature of land use and discrepancy in a cadastre of real estates in the course of land consolidation. Landscape scenery as a method of preservation of culturally historical continuity of a region. Realization of a design of lanscape consolidation into cultural landscape and cooperation with local community and municipality. Key indicators of land consolidation effectivity and bilance of results. Utilisation of land consolidation for adaptation of a landscape to global trend of climate changes and security risks. Institutional and legislative framework of land consolidation.

By the end of the course, a successful student should be able to: - use basic terms in land-use planning, - design a beneficial land consolidation considering a landscape scenery, - review a proposed land consolidation, - use land consolidations for landscape adaptation.
