Course content
This course covers the following areas: - Geomatics in relation to other geosciences - Geodetic positional and elevation fundamentals - Measurement accuracy and errors - Non-contact methods of geodata collection - Spatial databases - Real estate cadastre - Geographic information systems - Fundamentals of cartography - Basic and thematic map works - GeoWeb - Gravitational field - Cooperation between geomatics and other disciplines - examples of good practice

  • Contact hours - 13 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 30 hours per semester
