Course content
1. Fundamentals of information technology. Data, information, knowledge. 2. Software and hardware - overwiew. 3. Basic office software - MS Word. 4. MS Word. 5. MS Excel and its application for data processing and analysis, formulas and functions. 6. Graphs, sorting and filtering. 7. Graphic editors, image formats, compression algorithms, digital photography. 8. Basic office software - MS Powerpoint and techniques for modern presentation. Spreadsheets. 9. Internet, advanced search queries, documents, electronic information sources. 10. Audio, video, 3D, compression. 11. Archivation, backups and data protection. Ethic aspects of ICT. 12. Internet security and computer crime.

  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 30 hours per semester
