Course content
Solids, intersection with the plane and straight line, intersection of the solids. Central projection. Linear perspective. Surfaces of revolution. Curves, helix. Helical surfaces. Ruled surfaces.

Lecture supplemented with a discussion, Lecture with visual aids, Practicum

Knowledge
In this course we suppose knowledge of the course KMA/DEG1.
use basic constructions in parallel projections, mainly Monge projection, axonometry
construct conic sections from specified elements
use central collineation and axial affinity
Skills
construct elementary solids in parallel projections, mainly Mongevo projection, axonometry
recognize the properties of objects in the above projections
construct an image of an polygon and a circle in axial affinity and central collineation

have an overview of the curves of technical practice
work with surfaces of technical practice, especially rotary, screw and linear

construct sections of elementary surfaces by a plane, intersections of elementary surfaces with a line
work with curves, construct an intersection of a curve with a plane, construct a tangent
work with surfaces of technical practice (sections, tangent planes)
display surfaces of technical practice
