Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 Systematic work with sources. Systematic implementation of the visual task. Systematic work on the theoretical part. Regular consultations. Making a presentation of the thesis on PC for the defense during the final examination.. Submission of the artistic and theoretical parts of the thesis in the specified time and scope according to specifications. Saving the final version of complete thesis on CD. Installation of artwork in an appropriate space according to the instructions of the Head.

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 20 hours per semester

prerequisite
Knowledge
Successful completion of the relevant theoretical courses and studio art courses; from previous studies the knowledge of writing an academic text and the ability to independently make a film. Basic knowledge of typography of theses is an advantage. Previously obtained credit from course SODS1.
acquire and apply the knowledge acquired by completing compulsory and compulsory optional subjects of the common core and specialized subjects, the curriculum of which forms the circuits of the state final examination, acquire and apply knowledge about writing a professional text and technical and technological creation procedures
Skills
write research on the assigned topic of the qualification thesis, study recommended literature and resources presenting the level achieved in the relevant discipline of art or design, write down the author's intention as a reflection and interpretation of the solved problem, create a technical and technological report describing the resulting artifact, critically assess the quality of one's own solutions to a given problem in the context of the corresponding frame of reference, present and discuss held opinions, values and preferred solutions to the supervisor and the professional public

planning and implementation of a complex art project under predetermined conditions and within a given time schedule, flexible reactions to difficult-to-predict events affecting the technical, technological methods of solving the project, or to thematic changes resulting from the nature of the creative process, writing an accompanying text that meets the parameters of the assignment (usually contains research on the assigned problem, author's reflection, technical and technological report, conclusions and discussions), defense of the final project before the professional and wider public
