1. Introduction to the semester, organization of teaching and habits in the studio. 2. Basics of studio photography: photography as a dialogue of technique and visual concept. 3. Concept creation, research, mood boards, treatment. Preparations and visualization. 4. Staged photography - preparations, concepts, communication. 5. Commercial photography - teamwork, client specifics 6. Light in the studio I: natural and artificial light, basic light patterns 7. Light in the studio II: product and building a light atmosphere 8. Light in the studio III: advanced and alternative techniques 9. Light outside the studio: . 10. Stylization of the image: styling, props, background and visual identity. 11. Post-production I: History, principles, ethics. 12. Post-production II: preparation of photographs for print, web and advertising use. 13. Presentation and reflection of semester work, analysis of results in the context of contemporary photographic practice.

| the possibilities of using studio photography in staged and commercial work, especially in the field of advertising, promotion and visual communication in various image media, technical and technological conditions of studio photography, including working with artificial light, light modifiers and basic studio equipment, basic principles of image staging, working with an object, space, scene and model, basic terminology related to studio, staged and commercial photography and its post-production, principles of post-production processing of photographs for print and digital media. |

| practically apply the knowledge of controlling studio technology and lighting equipment necessary for the realization of staged and commercial photography and subsequent work in post-production, choose an appropriate form, visual style and workflow when solving various artistic and commercial assignments, especially in the field of product, portrait and advertising photography, independently prepare and implement a simple photographic project from concept and staging to the final photograph, basically work with image post-production with regard to the intended use of the photograph (print, web, advertising), critically reflect on one's own photographic work in the context of the assignment and current photographic practice. |
