Course content
1- Introduction to reproduction photography - purpose, reproduction standards, difference between documentary and accurate color reproduction. 2- Studio equipment for reproduction - suitable cameras, lenses with minimal distortion, tripods, product tables and holders. 3- Lighting for reproduction of 2D originals - symmetrical lighting setups, working with polarization, eliminating glare and uneven lighting. 4- Original preparation - manipulation of images, graphics and lithographs, safety procedures, alignment and fixation of the work in the reproduction space. 5- Calibration and color accuracy - use of gray and color targets, color management, ICC profiles, standardized exposure settings. 6- Technical aspects of photography - precise camera geometry, axis alignment, minimizing distortion, uniform focus of the entire surface. 7- Specifics of different surfaces - matte, glossy and textured paintings; working with translucent graphics and paper texture. 8- Advanced techniques - cross-polarization sets, focus merging, multi-frame mosaic for large formats. 9- Digital post-production of reproductions - perspective correction, defect removal, color unification, accurate white balance and output profiling. 10- Retouching and adjustments - removal of dust, irregularities, damage, non-intrusive retouching. 11- Export and preparation of final data - print readiness, data formats, archiving and long-term preservation of digital reproductions. 12- Individual practical tasks - reproduction of paintings, graphics and lithographs with subsequent retouching and accuracy control.

equip imaging techniques in basic graphics editors to reproduce the names and definitions of the basic functionalities of graphic editors compare the results achieved on the given field of creation (both own and foreign) to apply knowledge about basic graphic morphology when designing digital image composition

make sketches of compositional designs in basic graphic editors develop research on the topic present your suggestions to other team members, the sponsor (the teacher)
