1. Introduction to the subject and demonstration of the possibilities of machine knitting in the context of contemporary fashion design, assignment of a semester topic. 2. - 3. Basic technological principles of working on a flat knitting machine with a focus on use in clothing design. 4. - 5. Practical demonstration of knitted weaves, textures, shaping techniques, and combinations of materials about their visual and haptic qualities. 6. Experimental approaches to knitting - 3D knitwear, highly elastic weaves, etc. 7. - 8. Selection of appropriate technological solutions according to the nature and intention of individual student projects. 9. Interconnecting technological, aesthetic, and artistic aspects of creation with an emphasis on innovation and an authorial approach. 10. - 12. Own project implementation, proofreading, and final editing 13. Presentation and reflection of individual student works, joint discussion on the choice of technologies, experimental procedures, and creative development.
