Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 Systematic work with sources. Systematic implementation of the visual task. Systematic work on the theoretical part. Regular consultations. Writing of the artistic and theoretical parts of the thesis in the specified time and scope according to specifications. Saving the final version of complete thesis on CD.

prerequisite
Knowledge
Successful completion of the relevant theoretical courses and studio art courses; from previous studies the knowledge of writing an academic text and the ability to independently make a film. Basic knowledge of typography of theses is an advantage. Previously obtained credit from course GDDS1.
Skills
write a research paper on the assigned topic of the qualification thesis, study the recommended literature and sources presenting the level achieved in the relevant discipline of art or design, write the author's intention as a reflection and interpretation of the problem being solved, create a technical and technological report describing the resulting artifact, critically assess the quality of one's own solutions to the assigned problem in the context of the appropriate reference frame, present and discuss the opinions, values and preferred solutions held to the thesis supervisor and the professional community

Knowledge
The student will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for the optimal performance of more demanding assigned artistic tasks. He/she will be able to objectively evaluate his/her possibilities and abilities, propose and evaluate the most suitable solution including implementation within the specified time period. He/she will be able to appropriately supplement the artistic aspect with an appropriate professional text at the required level, and he/she will be able to save the resulting version of the work on an electronic medium. He/she will be able to present his/her project in the form of his/her own PC presentation and will also be able to defend it.

be able to write an error-free professional (scientific) text in their field be able to use professional Czech and foreign literature and databases without any problems be able to didactically transform scientific knowledge into the teaching process be able to prepare a presentation of the results for the defense of their diploma thesis
