Course content
An integral part of the lectures are chapters devoted to topics such as the structure and evaluation of international projects, a description of the life stages of a research project, and cross-cutting topics such as ethics, gender, open access, and others. The course is also accompanied by demonstrations and examples of successful projects. 1. The European Research Area, the EU single market for research, innovation and technology. 2. Objectives of the new EU policy in the field of research and innovation. 3.-4. Funding and strategic consulting in the field of European research, practical exercises 5-6 Initiatives with an emphasis on research in the field of culture, art and creative industries - New European Bauhaus, Creative Europe etc.

prerequisite
Knowledge
The student is expected to have a basic orientation in research about the cultural and creative sector and a primary direction in grant policy and initiatives of the European Commission. Knowledge of the English language is assumed.

Knowledge
The student is well versed in the international research space, understands the research and innovation goals of the EU, and is perfectly oriented in the initiatives of the European Commission aimed at the cultural and creative industries. A course graduate is perfectly versed in financing and strategic consulting in international research.
Skills
The student can interpret and present the essence of the European Research Area - can explain the EU single market for research, innovation and technology based on the free movement of researchers and knowledge and the harmonization of policies and programs in the field of research. He can connect his doctoral research project with European study with a focus on cultural and creative industries.
