Course content
1. Introduction to the issue of materials and familiarization with the tools for their processing. 2.-6. Traditional materials and their processing. 7. Alternatives and imitations of traditional and natural materials 8-10 Synthetic materials and modern casting materials 11. Surface treatment and conservation of material. 12. Maintenance, restoration and restoration of the work. 13. Presentation of the semester project and evaluation

Skills
Students are supposed to have basic ability to express model´s plasticity.
Develop drawings and basic modelling sketches on a given topic. Based on the criteria, select the appropriate proposals. Realize the final work/works.

Knowledge
Students acquire general knowledge of materials used in the art industry and tools for processing them.
Skills
Students will gain a general awareness and deepen their ability to realize their own project, learn traditional sculpting techniques such as working with stone and its imitation in combination with other materials, and learn about modern casting materials and their unconventional uses, including alternatives to commonly available synthetic materials.
