Course content
The concept of the region - structure, shape, typology of regions. Approaches to regional taxonomy. The regional dimension in major economic theories and theories of regional development - neoclassical theory, keynesian economics, neo-marxism, neo-liberal economics, institutional economics. The regional dimension in the current institutional directions.

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 35 hours per semester
