Introduction to the issue, main concepts. Basic methodological features of geography. Object and subject of geography. Geography in the classification of sciences. System of geographical sciences. Geographical organization in the hierarchical arrangement of reality. Basic geographical regularities. History of geography and geographical thinking. Geographical paradigms. Theoretical approaches in contemporary geography. Theoretical concepts of territorial / regional development.
