Lectures: 1-2. Fundamental Concepts of Electrochemistry: Structure of substances and chemical bonding 3-4. Electrolytes, pH, acids and bases, and laboratory safety 5-6. Fundamental Principles of Electrochemistry 7-8. Electrolytic Surface Treatments, Anodic Processes, Electroforming 9-10. Chemical Surface Processes: Applications in e-textiles. 11-12. Applied Chemical Experiment: Designing a simple material modification (metal / polymer / textile) with a defined function (mini-project) 13. Environmental and Safety Aspects of Chemical Processes
