Introduction to electoral studies - research topics and basic theoretical perspectives Election as a political institution Election and democracy Voting behaviour in political theory Electoral participation as a research problem Electoral engineering - key variables of electoral systems Election campaigns in historical perspective Strategies of election campaigns Political party and party system as a concept in political theory Functions and typologies of political parties in theoretical and historical perspective Party systems and their research in historical perspective Party systems classifications and their usability in political analysis
