Course content
Introduction to anti-terrorism, anti-extremism and strategies of prevention of terrorist and extremist activities Analysis of the modus operandi of globally operating terrorist groups (al-Qaeda, Hamas, Daesh). Analysis of the modus operandi of European terrorist groups (separatist, right-wing, etc.) Religion and terrorism, modus operandi of Islamic fundamentalists, ultra-orthodox Jews etc. Anti-terrorist and legislation in the European Union, in the Czech Republic, and in selected democratic states Anti-terrorist and strategies in the European Union, in the Czech Republic, and in selected democratic states Analysis of impact of existing strategies and measures in the Czech Republic and in selected countries Role of political institutions and NGOs
