The concept of political system Possibilities of typologization of democratic political systems (by forms of government, forms of governance or forms of state) Federalism in theory and praxis Constitutional democracy in theory and praxis Presidentialism in theory and praxis Semipresidentialism in theory and praxis Parlamentarism in theory and praxis Convent Contemporary trends in the development of democratic political systems (de-alignment, electoral personalization and presidentialization of politics)

through analysis identify the differences between the written constitution and actual political practice
based on knowledge of the characteristics of political systems, independently interpret current events in political systems
