Course content
Introduction to English-speaking countries' political systems Political system of Canada Political system of Australia Political system of New Zealand Political system of Ireland Political systems of selected Commonwealth countries (Cyprus, Malta, Gibraltar etc.)

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 52 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 60 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 34 hours per semester

to explain the norms of functioning of political systems in discussed states
to identify the basic selected political systems and distinguish them according to the typologies of political regimes
to describe important historical events in Anglophone countries and explain their importance
