Course content
1. The concept of Europeanization and its utility in regional policy 2. New regionalism and European integration 3. The role of regions in European politics 4. Regional policies of EC/EU in historical perspective 5. EU regional policy - structure and institutions 6. EU regional policy - formulating goals and creating instruments 7. Regional policy in the United Kingdom and in Ireland 8. Regional policy in Germany 9. Regional policy in Spain and in Greece 10. Regional policy in the Czech Republic 11. Regional policy in Central and East European states 12. Models of regional policy in EU member states

Learning activities and teaching methods
