Introduction to anti-terrorism and strategies of prevention of terrorist activities Analysis of the modus operandi of globally operating terrorist groups (al-Qaeda, Hamas, Daesh). Analysis of the modus operandi of European terrorist groups (separatist, right-wing, etc.) Religion and terrorism, modus operandi of Islamic fundamentalists, ultra-orthodox Jews etc. Anti-terrorist and anti-extremist legislation in the European Union, in the Czech Republic, and in selected democratic states Anti-terrorist strategies in the European Union, in the Czech Republic, and in selected democratic states Analysis of impact of existing strategies and measures in the Czech Republic and in selected countries Role of political institutions and NGOs Political actors, media and the construction of terrorist threats - analysis of the "War on Terror" and buzzwords associated with the migration crisis Analysis of programmes and practices of prevention of terrorism in democratic countries including the Czech Republic
