Course content
1. Introduction to the archaeology of modernity in Poland. 2. Urban areas, crafts, trade. 3. Rural areas, seats of nobility, villages. 4. Fortresses, chateaux, palaces, parks. 5. Churches and monasteries; graves of soldiers from rebellions and wars. 6. Industrial revolution and industrial archeology. 7. Military features from the First and Second World War. 8. Traces of the Nazi crimes - places of mass executions and graves, concentration camps. 9. Traces of the Communistic crimes - places of the mass executions and graves in the forms Soviet Union, graves of the victims and sentences of death from the People´s Republic of Poland.
