Course content
|
- chronological frame - cultures of the Eneolithic - symbolic systems - resident areas - burial areas - other areas - pottery prduction - other movable finds This course is focused on detailed introduction to the archaeological finds of this time period. Topics mentioned above will be presented and discussed in detail. Students will be presented knowledge of the symbolic system of the period studied, ways of gathering food, settlement and burial aspects of the Neolithic society. Indoeuropean aspects of the society are mentioned as well. Region of the Czech Republic will be emphasized, excursions to its broader surrounding will be included.
