Course content
This course is focused on archaeology of the Late Middle Age 13th - 15th Century. Following topics will be presented: - arfchaeology of the Late Middle Age village settlement - settlement structure - dessertation process of the village settlements and reduction of the settlement structure - ground plan of the settlements, constructional culture, house - agricultural and non - agricultural production - archaeology of the Late Middle Age towns - development of the towns in the time period studied - town ground plans and their changes - profane constructions, comunications - water supply, fortification, public constructions - town plot, house and its rear - crafts and their aspects in the archaeological source - archaeology of the fortified settlements (castles), their position in the landscape and their relations to the water streams - castles and their rear, basic types of the castle settlements and their development - survey of the basic types of the movable artifacts and theit chronology
