Course content

The thesis topics are determined by Department's Postgraduate Studies Committee at the beginning of study. Supervisor will give students detailed instructions on how to approach the topic theoretically and methodologically and on the schedule of their work. First part of the preparation is devoted to reading of relevant existing literature and selection of appropriate methods. Students regularly consult their supervisor, and eventually also other students during a seminar held for this purpose. Second phase of the project consists in particular research activities, consultations with the supervisor, elaboration, editing and following completion of the project. The general requirements on the contents are determined by Study rules of the University of West Bohemia, the supervisor determines the specific ones.
