Course content
Basic topics: 1. Use of a spreadsheet in archaeology (MS Excel) 2. Creation of a simple archaeological database (MS Access) 3. Use of the database in archaeological practice 4. Spatial archeology and social geography (GIS in archaeology, spatial analyses, historical cartographic sources) 5. Digital spatial data in archaeology (introduction) 6. Creation of cartographic outputs 7. Online map portals (suitable for archaeology) and digital map resources 8. Remote archaeological survey - data processing (drones, satellite images) 9. 3D digital models and their use in archaeology 10. Presentation of seminar works
