Course content
Principal attention is given to the relation between theoretical and empirical aspects of landscape and non-invasive archaeology in the context of archaeological field methods. Stressed is the need for heritage protection for the sake of its preservation - not only due to esthetic value, but also its informative (cognitive) meaning. Through case-studies the potential of the interdisciplinary approach into the historic land use will be shown (use of historic sources, artefacts, historic etymology, environmental sciences).
