Course content
Orthogonal method and its usage in documentation of archaeological probes and profiles Polar methods in elaboration of grand schemes of archaeological situations Principles and use of one-shot photogrammetry Principles and use of stereo photogrammetry Principles and use of intersection photogrammetry

Knowledge
To have an overview of basic documentation methods - orthogonal and polar
To have an overview of modern (digital) options for documenting archaeological and heritage monuments
To know the principles of photogrammetric methods (one shot photogrammetry, stereophotogrammetry, intersectional photogrammetry)
Skills
To use the orthogonal method for documenting archaeological trenches and profiles
To use the polar method for creating overall plans of archaeological sites
To be able to process final graphic documentation of the conducted excavation including photographic documentation, final drawings and a technical report
To be able to conduct documentation of more complex archaeological situations and surveys independently, using various methods in the process
