Basic topics: 1. Introduction to archaeological heritage management, archaeological heritage as an object of public interest. 2. Types of threats to archaeological heritage and their solutions - basic concepts. 3. Preventive care of archaeological heritage. 4. The law on state heritage care and archaeological heritage. 5. International conventions on the protection of archaeological heritage and other legal norms related to the care of archaeological heritage. 6. Crisis cases of destruction of archaeological heritage and their solution. 7. Management of archaeological heritage abroad. Selected examples of comparison of domestic and foreign practice. 8. Types of organizations operating in the field of archaeological heritage care and their scope. 9. Contract archaeology and archaeological project. 10. Contract archaeological research: characteristics, preparation, course, outputs. 11. Exploratory archaeological research: characteristics, preparation, process, outputs. 12. Presentation of research to the public and its importance for the protection of archaeological heritage.
