Course content
1. Introduction to questions of study of the Prehistoric religion and symbols 2. Spirituality of the Paleolithic and Mesolithic. 3. Questions of rituals and symbols in the Neolithic. 4. Socio-cult architecture, ditch enclosures, megalithic structures and ritual artifacts of the Neolithic 5. Questions of specific aspects of the burial rite in the European Prehistory. 6. Symbols and rituals in the Bronze Age and their reflection in the archaeological sources. 7. Cult and ritual in the Hallstatt period. 8. Symbolic and immovable artifacts of the LaTéne period. 9. Question of the demonstration architecture. 10. Building sacrifices and other archaeologically documentable rituals of the Middle Age. 11. Reflection of Christianity in the medieval burial rite. 12. Medieval sacral architecture and its symbolic meaning. 13. Significant symbols of the European Middle Age.
