Course content
The topics will be discussed: 1. Theory and method of the historic building research 2. Stratigraphic, formal and purpose analyses of the buildings 3. Archaeological approach to the historic built environment 4. Examples of the complex approach to the building survey both in Czech Republic and abroad 5. History and personalities of the historic buildings research

  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 15 hours per semester
  • Attendance on a field trip (number of real hours - maximum 8h/day) - 16 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 12 hours per semester
  • Graduate study programme term essay (40-50) - 35 hours per semester
