Course content
Basic conversational topics and written expression in the Egyptian dialect. Greetings, addresses, polite phrases, colloquial forms of grammatical structures such as personal pronouns, possessives, prepositions, numerals, forming questions, tenses of verbs in the present and past and future tenses in colloquial form, word order of colloquial sentences, demonstrative pronouns, expression of the verb "to have", "want", "must".

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 55 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 39 hours per semester

Knowledge
- understand the basic grammatical structures of standard Arabic, master the verbal system - have an adequate vocabulary in standard Arabic - be able to understand and actively use written expression in standard Arabic

- plan their own study and learning independently - Effective use of modern information technologies - search for the necessary information on various topics in Arabic
Competences
independently acquire further professional knowledge, skills and competences on the basis of practical experience and its evaluation, but also through independent study of theoretical knowledge in the field.

Knowledge
- Ability to explain the adequacy of the use of greetings, salutations and polite phrases in the Egyptian dialect - Ability to explain the verbal system of the Egyptian dialect in the present, past and future tenses - Ability to explain the grammatical structures of the Egyptian dialect such as personal pronouns, possessive pronouns, prepositions, question formation, explain the word order of colloquial sentences, demonstrative pronouns, verbs "have", "want", "must".
Skills
- use greetings, salutations and appropriate polite phrases correctly in the Egyptian dialect - use simple vocabulary and basic conversational sentences and phrases in the Egyptian dialect - be able to form simple noun and verb sentences in the correct word order - conjugate Egyptian colloquial verbs correctly in the present and past tense and future tense - form questions correctly, be able to use the verbs "have", "want", "must"

- according to the evolving context and available resources, defines the assignments for professional activities, coordinates them and bears ultimate responsibility for their results; - plan, support and manage the acquisition of further professional knowledge, skills and competencies of other team members using theoretical knowledge of the field;
