Course content
The course is designed for students who wish to complete MA Cultural studies of the Middle East degree in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which each part generally lasts about 15-30 minutes. The course and other requirements of the exam regulated by the Study and Examination Regulations of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. During preparation for the MA exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas. The exam confirms knowledge and skills gained during the study especially in the fields: KBS/NPY Religion in the perspective of social sciences and humanities KBS/SAY Anthropology of the ancient Middle East KBS/NSY Religions and ideology of the ancient Middle East KBS/NLY Religious literature of the ancient Middle East

  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 10 hours per semester
