Course content
The course is designed for students who wish to complete degree in the BA program Cultural studies of the Middle East in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which each part generally lasts about 15-30 minutes. The course and other requirements of the exam regulated by the Study and Examination Regulations of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. During preparation for the MA exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas. The exam verifies the knowledge and skills acquired during the study especially in these subjects: KBS/URX Introduction to religious studies KBS/SDX Ancient history of the Middle East KBS/SMX Material culture of the ancient Middle East KBS/NM1X Religions of the ancient Mesopotamia 1 KBS/NM2X Religions of the ancient Mesopotamia 2 KBS/ISAX Religions of the ancient Iran, Syria, Anatolia KBS/VKX Eastern Christianity
