Course content
The course is designed for students who wish to complete degree in the BA program Cultural studies of the Middle East in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which each part generally lasts about 15-30 minutes. The course and other requirements of the exam regulated by the Study and Examination Regulations of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Final (BA) state examination consists of four parts: 1. Bachelor's Thesis Defense 2-3. Compulsory subjects:KBS/DBBSZ History of the Middle East and KBS/KABSZ Cultural anthropology of the Middle East 4. Compulsory optional subjects: KBS/JUBSZ Judaism or KBS/ISBSZ Islam or KBS/NSBSZ Religions of ancient Middle East During preparation for the MA exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas.
