Course content
|
The course is designed for students who wish to complete BA Middle East degree in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which each part generally lasts about 15-30 minutes. The course and other requirements of the exam regulated by the Study and Examination Regulations of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Final (Bachelor) state examination consists of four parts: 1. Bachelor's Thesis Defense; 2. History and culture in ancient Middle East - DKBSZ, History and culture of the Middle East from Middle Ages - DSBSZ; 3. Examination in optional course: Judaism - JUBSZ, Islam - ISBSZ, Society and culture of ancient Middle East - STBSZ. During preparation for the BA exam, candidates may use individual or group consultation meetings with guarantors of disciplines relating to the exam areas.

A student may take the final Bachelor exam after he/she has met all requirements given in the curriculum design of the Middle Eastern studies filed set up by the Department of Middle Eastern Studies and all rules contained in the Study and Examination Statute of the University of West Bohemia. |
