Course content
|
Ethics in ancient, medieval, renaissance and modern age philosophy. Utilitarianism, Kant, Nietzsche. The course will also provide reflection of morality and ethical categories by non-philosophical disciplines (selected conception from psychology, sociology and biology), which try to deal with traditional question of philosophical ethics. We put more emphasis on conceptions which criticize and offer alternatives to modern humanism, which take the view that human being and its reason is centre of the world - virtue ethics, ecological ethics and feministic ethics.
