Course content
Development of care for monuments in the Czech lands, the current organization of state monument care in the Czech Republic; legal regulations in the field of care for cultural heritage (Act on State Monument Care, Act on the Protection of Museum Collections). Specifics of cultural heritage in the Czech Republic in the European context (cultural landscape, accessible monuments and their interior installations); current problems and potential of cultural heritage in the Czech Republic; basics of museum work, basics of the activities of a conservationist, acquaintance with the creation of a marketing plan of a cultural institution, the principles of designing an exhibition and a lecturer program; the difference between the area of care for cultural heritage and the area of living culture; financing of live culture in the Czech Republic; grant support and grant activity, marketing in the field of living culture; planning activities in the field of live culture (exhibition plan, concert season, performance plan, lecture series); types of work activities in institutions, organizations, associations and associations dedicated to the development of living culture.
