Liturgy and liturgy - starting points, sources, methods and concepts; general features of the Christian liturgy - cult, ritual, symbolism; overview of historical development - Judaism, antiquity; overview of historical development - Middle Ages; overview of historical development - Reformation and Trentino liturgy; overview of historical development - baroque liturgy, attempts at reform in the 19th century; overview of historical development - 20th century and liturgical reform; liturgy of the sacraments - forms, distinctions and meaning of basic liturgical acts; Eucharist - forms, structure and main elements; liturgy and man (anthropological dimension of the liturgy, bearers and executors of the cult); liturgy and time (liturgy of the hours, liturgical year, Christian holidays); liturgy and space (places and ways of cult performance, iconography); liturgical books, liturgical clothing and other objects
