1) Introduction to the Bible 2) Jesus of Nazareth and the origin of Christianity 3) Basic elements of Christian spirituality: prayer, work, charity 4) Ethical dimension: "The Ten Commandments" and Christian virtues 5) Christian symbols, theology of icon and image 6) Formation of Christological and Trinitarian dogma 7) Three streams of Christianity: Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Protestantism 8) Liturgy and appearance of the temple 9) Church year: the celebration of Christmas and Easter 10) Pilgrimages, Marian cult and feasts of saints 11) Sacraments: Baptism and Eucharist (Lord's Supper) 12) Forms of Czech religiosity 13) Contemporary Christianity in dialogue with the secular world and other religions
