Course content
Basics of academic writing: choosing the topic and search for the literature Structure of the written work: division of the report, seminar work Notes, reference and quotation Language stylistic structures of scientific writing Creating of concrete texts: request, CV, motivational letter, lecture notes, written report/ list of the literature necessary for the seminar work

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 39 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 13 hours per semester

to name functional styles
to distinguishtheoretically the basic features of functional styles
to describe the morphological system of the Russian language
to describe the structure of the Russian sentence and compare it with the Czech sentence
to characterize the ways of enriching vocabulary
to distinguish theoretically the basic features of spoken and written speech
Skills
to understand the Russian written or spoken interpretation from the field of stylistics
to correctly interpret the written and spoken (authentic and didactized) texts in Russian and the important information they provide
to understand the longer written and spoken authentic text in Russian and to create a glossary with key terms
to communicate in Russian at B2 level
to assign Russian-written text with the typical features of a certain functional style to the given functional style
