1. Introduction to Intercultural Communication 2. The culture and cultural identity 3. Communication 4. Cultural Standards 5. Stereotypes and prejudices 6. Intercultural learning and intercultural competence 7. boundaries and language neighbors 8. Regional identity, mutual perceptions in regional, interregional differences 9. Specifics of intercultural communication in interregional communication 10.Region and the role of intercultural communication

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Graduate study programme term essay (40-50) - 20 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester
prerequisite
Knowledge
For successful participation in the course is required the knowledge of the German language at least at the level C1 (CEFR) and basic knowledge of intercultural communication.

Students are able to - Apply knowledge of intercultural communication and competence in the interregional context - Apply their skills in intercultural communication during the project work and research - Differentiate and take into account the specifics of intercultural communication in interregions
