Course content
Week 1 Introduction to the plan. Information about the literature and student requirements. Making a contact. Speech etiquette. Thanks, apology, approval, disapproval, surprise, excitement, regret, hesitation, uncertainty,doubt. Week 2 Travelling by train, by plane. Public transport. Accommodation in the hotel. At the post office. Week 3 Financial operations. Banks, banking services. Conventional phrases and expressions. Economic and Monetary Union. Week 4 The stock market, participants in the stock market. Typology of stock exchanges. Trade in raw materials. Adjectival participles. Prepositional phrases connected to genitive, dative and instrumental. Export, import. The Demand. Stock market. Week 5 Public limited companies in Russia, main purpose of their activities. Who can be a shareholder? Verbal nouns. Numerals, percent and calculating of items. Conventional phrases commonly used in the trade negotiations. Week 6 Export and import of the cars. The situation on the Russian market. Business contacts between the Czech Republic and Russia. Week 7 Export and import of the food products. Factory for fish processing in Russia. Compounds of words. Passive form. Czech products abroad. Week 8 Tourism. Conception of realization and development of the tourism in Russia. Expression of purpose. Week 9 Verbonominal phrase. Discont cards for tourists. Week 10 Private entrepreneurship in tourism. Subjects and circumstances of entrepreneurship in Russia and in Czech Republic. Week 11 Exhibition. Organization of exhibitions in Russia. Attendance on exhibition, registration of participants. Time data and time construstions. Exhibition complexes in Moscow. Week 12 Customs inspection. Goods liable to customs clearance. Week 13 Customs regulations and regulations of foreign Exchange of Russia. Final test.
