Course content
|
This course deals with the verb and individual verb categories. Introduction to morphology. Classification of the words. Morphological distinction of verbs. Finite verb forms: regular and irregular verbs. Mixed types and their meanings. Infinite verb forms, education, use. Syntactic distinction of verbs. Full verbs and auxiliary verbs. Modal verbs, reflexive, reciprocal verbs. Semantic distinction of verbs: action type, transitivity, function verbs. Tempus - Education and Use of Tenses. Mode - Indicative, Imperative - Education and Use. Conditional - education and use. Genus Verbi - Characteristics, Education, Use: Active, Passive, Competitive.
