Course content
Characteristic features of the Russian syntax in comparison with Czech. Types of sentences from different perspectives - declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, imperative. Positive and negative sentences, modality of sentences and her and formal means of expression, infinitive clauses. Subject and predicate in Russian and Czech sentence. Subject - the differences between Russian and Czech. Adverbial - prepositional and proverbial expressions in comparison with Czech. Attribute - use consistent and non-conforming attribute focusing on the differences between Russian and Czech. Supplement and types of supplements - differences from Czech. Adverbial participles in Russian and their use. Adjectival participles in Russian and their use. Compound sentences - types of sentences, conjunctions. Reading of standard texts with understanding, practice estimation skills and basic translation.
