Course content
|
Introduction to evolution of writing system in Central Europe with special attention to German manuscripts. Work with copies of archive documents, their transliteration to contemporary writing system. Further transcript of texts to contemporary German and their reproduction in German, eventually in Czech.

| The students will be enabled to read older German manuscripts. They know the most important reference books for old manuscripts, they can find relevant hints there and reproduce them in practical use. They can discribe and interpret the structure and the specific elements of manuscripts. The course will be conducted in German on level B1 - B2 with translating more complex expressions into Czech. |
