Course content
The topics of particular lectures and seminars are: Geography location, are, borders, mountains and waters, climate, nature, mineral resources, ecology, transport, population, regions of RF, life in the city and in the country, political system, national symbols, current politicians, national character, way of life and traditions, folklore, national symbolism, holiday, orthodoxy, national cuisine, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Russia as a superpower, its role in current world and its membership in international organizations, economy.

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 39 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 13 hours per semester
