|
Translation organizations. Translation literature and periodical. Translation and interpreting rates. Translation and interpreting agencies. The subject of trantlatology, prescriptive and descriptive attitude. Translation and interpreting. Translation as a communication act. Translators´ competence. Translations, essence and types of translations. Linguistic view. Equivalence and adequacy. Types of equivalents. Interpretation as the essence of translation. Translation of therminology. Translation of realia, phraseology, puns, neologisms, archaisms, historicisms. Translation of names of companies, organizations and literary pieces. Communication globalization and its consequences for translation. Translation as intercultural communication. Critique of translation, criterions of appraisal.
