Course content
Central Europe as ethnopolitical concept: historical, cultural, teritorial and ethnopolitical specification. Euroasia in cultural, social and political setting of eastern Europe The right of nations to self-determination and its realization after the world war I. Euroatlantic and bolshevic visions. Emigration and reemigration in eastern Europe and Czech countries in 19. and 20. century. Russian emigration and Czechoslovak republic in inter-war period (representatives, institutions and activities) History and ethnocultural facts of current Czech republic: administrative, ethnic, religious and language composition. Foreigners living in Czech rep. Ethnocultural development of Lusatia and Lusatian Serbs Carpatho-rusyns in the intercultural settings Current efforts to establish new ethnic identities in central Europe Czech republic in the context of EU
