1. Introduction to human ecology, basic concepts and processes 2. Human actors as part of ecosystems 3. Evolutionary ecology of man 4. Significant environmental changes in the past 5. Culture as a means of adaptation 6. The importance of demography in human ecology 7. Social aspects of human ecology 8. Natural resources and social metabolism 9. Problems of consumption growth 10. Anthropocene 11.-12. Presentation of seminar projects
