Course content
- Introduction to the problem. - Historical, economic and political definition of "real socialism" (RS). - RS as the subject of study of social sciences and humanistics. - RS as a cultural type. - RS and the ethnographical study of everyday life. - Methods of ethnographical study RS 1. - Methods of ethnographical study RS 2. - Museology RS. - Basic cultural concepts associated with RS and their local, national and state-political variations.

  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 8 hours per semester

to defend the relevance of ethnographic / ethnological / anthropological study of socialist everyday life

to describe and explain the characteristic features of socialist everydayness and cultural specifics of the epoch
